Top-Hat Shaping

Functions:A "Top-Hat" or "flat-top" beam shaping is a diffractive optical element (DOE) used to convert a near-Gaussian incident laser beam into a circular, rectangular, square, linear or uniform intensity (Flat) point or other shape with a sharp edge in a particular working plane.
